Classroom Managment Plan
During a fire/drill, students will follow the teacher out of the building
During a fire/drill, students will line up and enter the school quietly
During a fire/drill, students will remain with their classmates and teacher
During a tornado/drill, students will stand up, push their chair in and head to the door
During tornado/drill, students will sit with hands and feet to themselves
During tornado/drill, students will remain calm and silent until we hear the "all clear" call
Be Responsible
During guided instruction students are to listen and take notes if needed, or just listen.
During independent time, they are to sit at their desk and work on their homework, if they have questions they
can come back to my desk and ask.
If during small groups students go to another room to work they are to act exactly how they would act in my
classroom
When students are in line there is no messing around, you stand still and wait for your turn to get food.
Students should memorize their lunch number so that the person does not have to look them up.
When coming back from recess, any issues are to be left at recess unless it is serious.
If the supervisor solved it at recess do not bring it into the classroom. If there is still an issue we can talk about it,
but it is dropped after that.
Be Respectful
When the teacher is talking, you raise your hand if there is a question/comment
When the teacher is talking, your eyes are focused on the teacher
During worktime, you are expected to stay on task
During worktime, be working on your own work. Worry about yourself only, unless instructed otherwise

During that independent time, if they want to work with a peer or ask them a question, they are to ask for
permission.
During independent time, they are to sit at their desk and work on their homework, if they have questions they
can come back to my desk and ask their questions.

Bathroom breaks: during guided instruction there will be no bathroom breaks. During independent or group time,
there will be one boy and girl pass that students can use
Instruction to independent work I will explain what the assignment is, then I will tell students they can get started
and they are to follow my indendepent time expectations.

There is no horsing around during these events, just because we are out of the classroom does not
mean you can act however you feel.

When I hand out the manipulatives students will not use them until they are instructed to do so.
Students are to use the manipulatives correctly with how they are suppose to be used or how I
demostrate using them.

they got them.

green- science, yellow- english)
During recess you can have any level voice you want, have fun and go nuts. Lose some of that
energy:) But be respectful and safe while doing it.
When students are in line for lunch they are at a level 2 or 3. Same rules apply to when they are
sitting at their tables eating.
Students are to treat the cooks and servers with respect, and same goes to any teacher who is
supervising them while they are eating.

There is no talking with your friends when getting your food so you can respond to the cooks.
Students will hand in papers respectfully, no messing around and put their assignments in the
correctly colored bin.
If a student comes in late they come in silently and go to their desk and join us for class.
Guided instruction to group time, I will explain what the assignment is, then I will create groups for
students, and break them apart and explain where they can work
When students come back from group time they come into the class quietly and go to their desk.

Students come into school and are expected to put their backpacks and any clothes in
their locker.
Students will bring their books and other assignment materials into the classroom.
When students come in they walk in respectfully and go to their desk and pull out their
homework folder and turn in any homework they took home.
If they have corrections get those done and turned in, when done sit quietly at their desk
with a book
When students can eat breakfast while making corrections, they are to eat at their desk.
If a student comes in late they come in silently and go to their desk and join us for class.

Students will be supplied iPads and pens through the school, students are to keep them in
the same condition as when they first got them.
Students are to treat them with respect and keep everything together and intact at all
times.
Students will use appropriate apps and websites only when using the iPads.
Students are not allowed to download any others apps, and are to only use websites
approve by the teacher.
When we use the iPad for class, students will stay on task and not play games while I am
instructing.
