RECOMMENDATION TO THE INSTITUTION:

(During the last survey visit dated March 16 – 18, 2022)

MANDATORY
(To be complied with before the award)

1. There should be a dedicated Program Coordinator for the BSCS Program

since the Current Program Coordinator is also the Program Coordinator of BS
Computer Engineering and preferably a BSCS and/or MSCS graduate.

2. An increase in the number of faculty doing research and publishing it in

publications indexed in Scopus, ACI, Thompson Reuters, and other reputable
journals.

3. The Program needs to strengthen its community services by doing

needs and implementing BSCS-aligned community services that are sustainable
so the tangible impact can be expected. It is also important to conduct a study
on the impact and sustainability of each for the community services rendered.

4. The Program is expected to pursue BSCS aligned partnerships, linkages

and consortia at both the national and international level as it only has one
national linkage and no international linkage at this time.

5. The BSCS program may consider drafting a comprehensive extension

program indicating in details the flow, direction, extension modalities, and
expected outcomes of specific skills and technologies for diverse focused
disciplines related to computing and technology.
