Good Afternoon Everyone,

Isn't it strange you find yourself tearing for someone whom you've probably never met in your entire life?.

Well I think most of NBA fans found themselves tearing when they heard the news that Kobe Bryant was found dead in a
helicopter crash in California.

Kobe Bryant was born on August 23 1978 in Philadelphia. Kobe's dad Joe "Jellybean" Bryant was a former NBA player
who played for several teams during his career

including Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets, etc. In 1991, the Bryant family moved back to the United States where Kobe
gained more interest in the game of basketball and also lead his high school team to a state championship in his senior
year . Kobe's dad played a major influence on him both as a basketball player and as a person ; he instilled in kobe a
passion for the game that would stay with him for the rest of his life.

Kobe's basketball journey began in highschool. After graduating from highschool , kobe decided to forge college and
enter the NBA draft. He was selected by the CHarlotte Hornets but was quickly traded to Los Angeles Lakers where he
spent his entire 20 years career.

Kobe struggled early on his rookie season, but he quicly adapted to the professional game. He won his first NBA
chapionship in 2000 and over the next several years he established himself as one of the best players of the year.

Kobe retired from NBA after 2015-2016 season leaving behind a legacy as one of the greatest baskebtall players of all time.

The term which is associated the most with Kobe Bryant is "Mamba Mentality" which is about striving for excellence and
pushing oneself to the limits inorder to achieve one's goals.

Here are some of the key components about Mamba Mentality:

1.Relentless Work Ethic:

kobe bryant was known
for his intense work ethic and dedication to his crafft. He believed success was earned through
hardwork and would practice for hours on end to perfect his skills.

2.Mental Toughness :

He believed that mental toughness was just as importnat as physical skill. .The mamba mentality is about staying strong
and focused in the face of adversity and not letting setbacks or failures derail one's goals.

3.Continous Imporovement:

constantly learning, growing and pushing oneself to be best version of oneself.
The mamba mentality is about

4.Attention to detail:

The Mamba mentality is about being through and deliberate in one's approach, leaving no stone unturned in pursuit of
happiness.

The NBA fans were shocked to hear the news of tragic death of Kobe Byrant in a helicopter crash in calabasas, California.

At the end i would like to speak few lines of Mrs. Vanessa Bryant, wife of kobe bryant, which she delivered on the
Basketball Hall Of Fame Enshirenment Ceremony.
She said,"There would never be anyone like Kobe,
Kobe was on different level. He played through multiple injuries. To
name a few, he had the IVs administrated to let him play in the second quater with food poisoning and flu. He played with
a broken nose. He had his finger broken and had it snapped back to the place just enough to finish the game. He also
taught himself how to use his left hand for the rest of the season.
He even switched to free throws with a torn achillies and walked off the court on his own. I remember asking him why
couldn't he just sit a game out beacuse he was hurting, he said,"What about the fans that saved up to watch for me to play
just once?. He never forgot about his fans."

"When we are saying this cannot be accomplished, this cannot be done, then we are short-changing ourselves.
My brain, it cannot process failure, it will not process failure. Because if i have to sit there and face myself and tell myself
that "you're a failure," I think it is almost worse than dying."
