    To conjugate verbs, it is necessary to understand the inflections of verbs according to person


    (persona), number (número) and gender (género).

    PERSON

    SINGULAR
    FIRST PERSON (primera persona) I (yo)
    SECOND PERSON (segunda persona) you (tú)
    THIRD PERSON (tercera persona) he / she (él / ella)

    PLURAL
    FIRST PERSON (primera persona) us (nosotros / nosotras)
    SECOND PERSON (segunda persona) you (vosotros o ustedes)
    THIRD PERSON (tercera persona) they (ellos / ellas)

    NUMBER

    singular
    plural

    GENDER

    male (masculino)
    female (femenino)

    For instance:

    nosotras somos = first person plural female
