1.0 SUMMARY
The Food Safety and Halal Internal Auditors conducts complete, detailed and objective
internal food safety and halal audits and reports their findings to the Food Safety and Halal
Team Leader and top management.
2.0 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of Food Safety and Halal Internal Audit Team
carry out audits of food safety and halal programs required by the regulations
carry out follow-up action, including further audits, to determine whether action has
been taken to remedy any deficiencies identified in an audit.
carry out assessments of food safety and halal standards to ascertain their compliance
with requirements
Qualified & trained in the Food Safety and Halal Internal Audit
Ability to recognize food safety and halal quality criteria.
Knowledgeable in halal requirements & standards.
Ability to recognize potential non halal issues .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical, decisive, ethical and adaptable
Ability to write clear and concise audit findings report
