Secret Admirer

I always think of you every day

don't know what to do and say
I try to plan out what I will do
Before I approach and say I like you

I hope my heart will never be broken

All because my feelings are unspoken
I have a lot of questions
Is it really love or infatuation

1.Provide the following questions written below

a) Explain the stanza from your poem – This poem is all about admiration to someone. In the first stanza, a person
has plans to approach a girl, but whenever he sees the girl, he can't do his plans because he is scared of rejection.
In the Second stanza, He has many questions and no answers, since he did not try to confess to his crush and
nothing happened.
b) Identify the various images in the poem - Auditory Imagery, Kinesthetic Imagery, and Organic Imagery

c) Brainstorm on how the poem can be interpreted literally and figuratively. The poet basically wants to give us
the courage to confess than to have nothing. Do not be afraid to tell your crush that you like them. If they like you,
that’s good, if you get rejected, who will care? Just move on and respect their decision.

d) Write a short critique focusing on how the images in the poem that present the experience of one’s point of
view. Most of us have gone through that situation whenever we have a crush on someone, it’s part of adolescence
when we develop feelings and affection for a person.
