NARRATIVE REPORT ON PBNHS 1ST VIRTUAL GAWAD SIGASIG

AWARDS
Pintong Bukawe National High School hold its very first Gawad Sigasig last July
21, 2021 via Virtual Awarding Ceremony, The PBNHS 1 ST Gawad Sigasig Awards aims
to recognize and give awards to the hardworking and outstanding teachers and faculty
staff of Pintong Bukawe National High School that exhibit dedication and excellence
despite of the hardship and difficulties brought by the pandemic.
The chosen host of the virtual awarding program is Ms. Mayet E. Munar JHS,
Teacher in English, the program started with the singing of the National Anthem led by
Ms. Ma. Christina S. Folloso, JHS MAPEH Teacher, followed by the prayer led by Mrs.
Cristine R. Balaod, JHS teacher in Science. After that, Mrs. Marjorie C. Gaynilo, Head
Teacher II gave her welcome remarks by extending her overwhelming and heartfelt
gratitude to all the teachers and faculty staff of PBNHS for their high dedication and
support for the success of the continuing education for recent school year, she also
expresses her incomparable happiness about the success of the takes place Gawad
Sigasig Awarding Ceremony and how these awarding ceremony will help teachers to be
inspired on their profession and keep striving. She promises that these awarding
programs won’t be the last and hopes for the next batch of awarding ceremony for the
upcoming school year. She was then followed by Inspirational message given by Mrs.
Edna Q. Ramos, SDS San Mateo, Ma’am Edna started her massages by expressing
her heartfelt gratitude as being part of the program she also gave her advance warm
congratulatory messages to all the outstanding PBNHS teachers and faculty staff
awardees and also hopes that our school will continue these momentous ceremonies
that gave recognition and honors to the great hard work and sacrifices of the Teachers
despite of the recent Covid pandemic. Another Inspirational message was also given by
Mrs. Pricilla V. Jose, SDS San Mateo she also extends her overwhelming happiness
and gratitude for being part of the awarding ceremony and she also expresses her
congratulatory message to all the teacher awardees of PBNHS 1 st Gawad Sigasig and
promise her love and support to PBNHS upcoming programs and activities for the next
school year, and last is a very heartfelt inspirational message given by Mrs. Irene M.
Ycoy, Science Head Teacher from Xavier School Marikina and Mr. Enrique S.
Sanguiza, SHS English Teacher in PBNHS who both expresses their sincere happiness
and gratitude about the success of these Awarding Ceremony.
After the welcome remarks and inspirational messages given by the School
Head, School Division Superintendent, Guest and Teacher, Mr. Christopher Cinense,
JHS AP Teacher presented a video clip which highlighted the PBNHS Whole Year
Round Activities which then followed by the main event of the program which is the
presentation of the Awards and Certificates to the following Outstanding Teachers and
Faculty Staff of PBNHS for the SY 2020-2021, The First Awards given are the Best in
Demonstration Teaching Award which is awarded to Mrs. Cristine R. Balaod, JHS
Science Teacher, and Mr. Leonor A. Leonor JHS TLE Teacher, who showcased and
shared their amazing and exemplary talent and expertise in face to face and on-line
Class Demonstration Teaching. The next award given is the Phenomenal Teacher
Award which is awarded to Mr. Godofredo S. Saurane Jr., SHS Master Teacher I in
Mathematics and Ms. Claudine L. Bartolome, JHS AP Teacher, these momentous
award is given to the following teacher who shows unsurpassable dedication and
leadership towards their profession. Another award is the Star Teaching Award which is
awarded to Mr. Enrique S. Sanguinza, SHS English Teacher, and Mr. Leonor A. Leonor,
JHS TLE Teacher, these award is given to chosen teachers that shows enthusiasm and
positive outlooks as well as positive vibes toward his/her work ethics. The next award is
the Excellence Teacher Award and the highest award of PBNHS 1 st Gawad Sigasig
which is awarded to the three Outstanding PBNHS Teacher for the School Year 2020-
2021. The 3rd place is awarded to Ms. Gemma A. Lofamia, JHS English Teacher, while
the 2nd place is awarded to Mr. Enrique S. Sanguinza, SHS English Teacher, and then
the 1st Place is given and awarded to Ms. Claudine L. Bartolome, JHS AP Teacher. A
plaque and certificate of appreciation are also hereby awarded to Mrs. Edna Q. Ramos,
SDS, Mrs. Pricilla V. Jose, SDS and Mrs. Irene M. Ycoy. of Xavier School,
Marikina.
The last award presented is the Certificate of Appreciation awarded to the
following PBNHS Faculty Teachers and Staff and GPTA officers.

The program formally ended with a closing remark delivered by Mr. Godofredo

more successful events on the upcoming school year.
