VICTIMOLOGY ASSIGNMENT

What are the feelings you have after watching the video? What are the feelings expressed by the
victim(s)?
- I was very sad about in learning what they experience and to their losses, and also very displeased to the
offender who commit those offenses. The feelings shown or express in the short clip was sad, angry, and
grieved as to what I observe.
What are the harms experienced by victims? Address physical, mental, economical possible burden.
-For the first video the victim was stab to the neck and bleed to death, the second video clip were victim
of hate crim wherein the brother of Yee young was salvage by group of men, Jee young was traumatized
to what happen to his brother that’s why he has a conviction of putting all the offender behind bars and as
for the last video he was attacked with baseball bat unknowingly, he was mad about it since his physical
condition went bad also he was depressed about it and develop a phobia by just walking outside of his
house .
What does this victim and any collateral, indirect victim need after what has happened?
- the victims and the indirect victims were traumatized as to what I observe that’s why they need to
consult a therapy so that they grievances can be reduce, also they need a comfort to ease their heavy
emotions
What possible actions could help her/him? What could increase the risk of future harm or further
victimization?
- the possible action to minimized their impairment would be continue to consult in a therapy and also,
they must always exercise caution and act wisely to avoid victimization
Have you come across someone going through any of the feelings expressed by the victim?
- I had been encounter someone who has same expressed feelings like in the short clip when we visit the
last night of my friend his family was in great grievances since they going to miss him, they cried a lot
one of his family actually sob and yet still until now they miss him since he was a great child for them.
