change. They are driven, creative individuals who question the status quo, exploit new
opportunities, refuse to give up and remake the world for the better.

A very Good Afternoon to one and all present over here

I Speaker 1 with my co-host Speaker 2 feel privileged to host this event and are honored to
welcome you all today on behalf of National Service Scheme, Shri Ram College of Commerce.

With a heart for service and spreading endless joy and warmth, we are finally here with our
much awaited annual fest SAMARPAN’23.

So, here we are with Socio-Bee 9.0 - A social business plan competition, a platform for ideas that
can positively impact the world and enable the young and energetic social entrepreneurs to come
up with innovative business plans centered around issues of social significance, providing them
with a platform to present feasible solutions to pragmatically address social problems that plague
our society.

Before moving further with the details of the competition, We would like to extend our humble

Moving on with the event. We received a lot of applications for Socio-Bee this year. The entire
competition was dissected into two rounds. The first round required the participants to Submit an
executive proposal of the Business plan for a social cause. All the plans were independently
reviewed and graded by a team of jury members.

All the shortlisted teams for the final round will be presenting their business plan covering
various aspects like financials,marketing,operating issues and HR strategies and contingency
plans.
The presentation of the business plan must not exceed more than 10 mins ,followed by a 5
minutes Q & A session by an eminent panel of judges. .
A virtual bell will ring to signal halftime and one minute before the allotted time.

Thank you Jury members. We have come to the end of the competition. Today we had the
pleasure of witnessing a plethora of talent and young minds ready to lead
the world. It was a very interesting and brainstorming series of presentations.

I am sure all the teams put in their best efforts and are eagerly waiting for the results now. So, I
would like to request the jury members to compile the results and announce the winners. Till
then let's take a break of 10 minutes. I would like to request everyone to not leave the meeting.

Winning and losing are a part of life , they keep on going, but what is most important is that you
learn and grow and give your best to every opportunity that comes your way. And therefore A
big thanks to all the participants for aspiring and setting out to achieve.

Once again, I would like to thank Partner Company and Jury Names for gracifying this event
with his presence and inspiring words. I would also like to thank the NSS team for their efforts
and making this event successful.
