PURPOSE
The aim of this report is to give suggestions on how to improve the school library.
Our idea is to attract more students to visit this place and to perceive it as a place
for relaxation, friendships and knowledge.
REFRESHING THE ATMOSPHERE
Firstly, it is especially important to refresh the area. In this way, this place will be
more attractive and interesting. In order to do this, we should form a volunteer
team which will repaint the walls and redecorate the furniture. In addition, we
can add colorful pillows and sitting point beanbags.
ONLINE AREA
Secondly, another recommendation would be to form an online area where we
can surf the Internet. This area would be equipped with tablets, laptops and free
wi-fi. Furthermore, we can do projects and research for school. By setting up this
space we can communicate more actively with our classmates.
CLASSES AT THE SCHOOL LIBRARY
Finally, the new improvements should be popularized, and it would be a good
idea to organize classes at the library. For example, language and history classes
can be at this place because students will be in an interesting and innovative
atmosphere. In this way, we will be more motivated to visit library after school.
CONSLUSION
To sum up, in order to make the school library more popular among teenagers, I
recommend forming a volunteer team to refresh the exciting library facilities and
to form an online area. By taking heed of the advice given in this report, we can
expect the library to become a place for young and creative people.
