Experiment Name: Layout plan of sewing lab

1.0 Theory:

Layout is a arrangement plan or design. It is a drawing of how the sewing lab was build. Layout
plan is the most effective physical arrangement of machine, processing, equipment, material
movement, storage, labor, and all supporting activities. A good lay out plan is directly
associated with good work flow.

2.0 Objective

Some objectives of this experiment are mentioned below:

1. To know about apparel manufacturing lab

2. To how many machines are there in the lab
3. To know about the machine and their function
4. To learn the basic knowledge about apparel manufacturing lab.
5. Lastly to know about the layout plan of apparel manufacturing.

3.0 Working Procedure

Working procedure of the experiment is mentioned bellow:

1. First, we collected the information about the machine.

2. Then we noted down the machine list in a paper.
3. We watched a lot of videos in online of the machines
4. Our lab assistant helps to collecting the information about machines.
5. Then se we made a plan of our layout of lab by following the teacher information.
6. We made sure that we used most space of our lab
7. After completing the layout making. we noted all the information.

Layout is an important issue for an apparel industry.50% of production and progress of an

industry depends on layout plan. I achieve good idea and knowledge about layout plan. This
knowledge will be helpful for our practical life.
