BACKGROUND

Zimbabwe has embarked on successful accelerated land reform program which have improved
standards of living of many families who were previously packed at colonial reserves. Successful as it is
however , the resettlement program has been observed as a necessary evil as both strengths and
weaknesses have been recorded. You are therefore supposed to research on its impacts on the
environment as well as on the exonomic impacts to the beneficiaries.
