RICE FESTIVAL

They are carried out in Aguazul, Casanare is a very green plain that serves as an example to

show the inexhaustible beauty of the Colombian eastern plains. In this beautiful

municipality of hard-working people, rice is the fuel that ignites life and there is not a

single inhabitant who does not make sure that the rice grown there is the finest.

Nothing better than a delicious and thick glass of rice masato with pineapple to begin to

prepare the palate and become ecstatic with the Casanareña gastronomy that is simply

wonderful and that gives the body the energy and stamina necessary to attend and enjoy a

varied number of attractions where the men and women who daily carry out the typical

tasks of the plain are exalted.

The festival is adorned with the joropo, the rhythm that makes the hearts of the plains beat,

and the streets serve as a track where men and women dance while advancing with a

population admiring the popular feeling of a thriving municipality and in which rice has

allowed to forge a positive attitude and progress.

You can enjoy the traditional bullfights and the different crafts that will be presented in this

edition of the festival. In addition, the different varieties of coffee that this region presents

make the stay of all visitors a pleasant one.

Remember that the last day of the event will be the award ceremony for the Queen of Rice

two thousand twenty-three, in addition to different orchestras and bands that will

accompany this party in the municipality of Casanare.
