The basis for payment will be on actual quantities of
works ordered and carried out as measured by the
Engineer.

Contractual Requirements

1.0 Allow for compliance with the terms of each of


Conditions of Contract and Preliminaries of the
Specification including the following:

1.0.1 Worksmen's Compensation Insurance and SOCSO.

1.0.2 Insurance against damage to, destruction or loss of Lump


property owned by Third Parties. Sum

1.0.3 Contractor's All Risks insurance for the Works.


1.1 Allow for compliance with the terms in the Lump
Condition of Contract and Preliminaries of the Sum
specifications not covered in the above.

1.2 Survey and setting out the locations and reduced Lump
level of all Site Investigation Works Sum
1.3 Safety Environmental Requirement with regard to
compliance with government SOP on COVID19 and Lump
comply with Authority Safety Requirements, Sum
DOSH/DOE, etc.

1.4 Preparation and submission of seven (7) sets of


Factual Reports which duly endorsed by Prefessional
Engineer with Practising Certificate including results
of all laboratory tests, layout showing as built SI Lump
Location, monitoring data, etc. One (1) softcopy of the Sum
same in DVD-ROM shall be submitted.

2.0 Boring Plant - Mobilisation & Demobilisation

2.0.1 Mobilise two (2) numbers of deep boring plant to Site Lump

2.1 Carry out rotary drilling, whether cased or uncased:

Drilling in Rock

2.2 Carry out diamond core drilling of 54mm minimum


diameter in all kinds of rocks including delivery of
rock cores in standard boxes to Engineer's Office:

2.2.1 From existing ground level or mudline to a depth not Metre R.O

2.7 Obtain 75mm minimum diameter of Undisturbed


Samples by using triple tube core barrel with
retracable shoe (Mazier) with an approved drilling
mud :

2.7.1 At a depth between existing ground level to a depth not No. 6


exceeding 10 metres.

2.7.2 From a depth exceeding 10 metres to a depth not No. 24


exceeding 20 metres.

2.7.3 From a depth exceeding 20 metres to a depth not No. 12

Photographs
2.11 Take and supply mounted 4R size digital photographs Set 7
for all extracted rock cores, soil samples or such
portion of the Works in progress as directed by the
Engineer. The rate shall be for one set consisting of
seven (7) prints and supply of digital JPEG file

Standpipe Piezometer
3.1 Supply and install open standpipe piezometer in pre- No. 6
drilled borehole, inclusive of uPVC tubing upto a
maximum depth of twenty (20) metres with filter
fabric wrapped around at perforated end, sand filter,
protective cover, concrete, grouting, etc as specified.
Rate to include monitoring of piezometer at regular
time intervals during currency of Contract.

3.1.1 Extra over item 2.8 if uPVC tubing depth exceeds 20 Metre 60
metres but not exceeding 30m.

Collecting Water Samples


3.2 Collect one (1) litre of representative ground water No. 12
sample in a water tight, clean container from a deep
borehole and pond water as instructed by S.O at site.

3.3 Mackintosh Probes


3.3.1 Carry out Mackintosh or JKR Probes to a maximum No. 17
depth not exceeding 10m on the original ground.
