1. What an event manager does and how to execute a successful

As an event manager, you must first determine the nature and scope of the event. It aids in the
organisation and assignment of tasks and responsibilities within the production team. A larger
and more specialised production team, including technical and multimedia teams, a creative
team to develop creative ideas, a finance team, a stage manager, a logistics team to handle
health and logistics, and a report, may be required for larger projects. The demand is
growing. Team for virtual events and live streaming. Work with suppliers to provide event
resources as well. Furthermore, event organisers must obtain the necessary permits and
approvals from authorities such as local councils and police departments, such as recreational
permits and MSCP permits.

2. The distinction between local and international event management

Local and international events are managed differently in various respects. It is essential to
have a clear strategy and plan for communicating with working partners during international
events due to potential language and cultural restrictions. Time management is similarly
important in the preparation of international events, where it may be necessary to start
planning and organising earlier than for local events. On the other hand, timing and
communication issues might not be as significant when planning events inside the same
country or region. One of the panellists, Puan Samirah Binti Hambali, recounted her
experience organising international events in Yemen in 2019 when language barriers made it
challenging to engage with parties that wanted to collaborate.

3. Challenges to manage an event during the Covid-19 pandemic

The panel discussed the negative effects of the COVID-19 epidemic on their production
groups, including criticism and unstable emotions like dread and pressure. To address these
issues, the government established the Creative Digital Music Fund to assist production
companies. As a result, some organisations took advantage of the chance and asked for
financing, while others continued to generate material electronically through platforms such
as YouTube. It is critical to be resourceful and discover answers to difficulties, and group
unity and support are critical for event management success. Salam Dari Maya is the name of
their work. Here, we see that despite the many difficulties we encounter, problem-solving
requires cleverness. Additionally, successful management depends on the cohesiveness of the
organisation.
4. Management experience with WINGS concerts:

Puan Samariah has a diverse set of experiences from her career in management. As a result,
she has a lot of experience running various shows, including the Wings show. She's also
served as an artist manager for a number of Superfriends musicians. Among those she
regularly handles are Awie and other talents. Managing these artists includes finding artist
connections and connecting with them. As a result, Puan Samariah has had a wide range of
experiences.

5. Panelist Samariah Binti Hambali's recommendations

According to the panel's recommendation, we should be very interested in the agricultural

area or industry. Because if you love everything, it will be quite simple to repair and will not
be a strain to bear. Then we must take advantage of every opportunity to get experience in
this field. Participating in more event-management activities, for example. As a result, we
may learn a great deal about management. Consequently, we will be able to improve our
management abilities. This experience is crucial since we can only learn how to strengthen
our inadequacies via experience.
