IV. Make a summary of the film in ten words

A probable future in which artificial intelligence reaches human emotions.

V. In just ten words, what are the values you learned from this film?
We must function as humans without depending on advanced technology.
PART 2. From the preceding readings on the “Perils of Artificial Intelligence”,
make a summary from which these issues were highlighted from the film.

a. Large-scale unemployment: In several ways, new technology can generate

employment. The people who create and maintain the technology have immediate
employment opportunities, and occasionally whole new industries are founded on the
technology. Large-scale unemployment will not be impacted by technology and
machines taking over some work currently performed by people. Therefore, our
standard of living has increased over time thanks to this process, which has always
required labor. It indicates that there is still a demand for human work in general.

b. Singularity: The concept of singularity defines the hypothetical futuristic creation of a

Sci-Fi novel in which the film is more likely to overcome humans sooner or later. Thus,
robots will be vastly more intelligent than humans and overtake the human race.
Nevertheless, robots could enslave humanity which threatens human existence.

c. Machine Consciousness: This aspect deals with the possibility of implanting

human-like consciousness into machines, taking them beyond the realm of human
behavior. The film I, robot shows the impossible traits of a robot that functions
automatically and performs complicated, often repetitive tasks with a mechanism guided
by automatic controls.
