MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING HELD ON 30TH MARCH 2022 AT HYSLOP

BUILDING

The meeting was held in hyslop(science building) with an opening prayer from Vanice
Moraa Ratemo.

Reading and approval of the previous minutes

The minutes of the previous meeting were led by the secretary and seconded by two
members:Wislay Ombati and Gaudenciah and all the members agreed over the same.

Matters arising from the previous meeting

There was restructuring of the GUSWA committee that was discussed in the last meeting
and new leaders were chosen as
1.The chairperson Wislay Ombati
2.Treasurer Gaudenciah Moraa
3.secretary Ratemo Vanice
4.organising secretary Brian onchoka
5. GUSWA representatives
1.Absolom Gongera

2.hesbon
Omweri
3Zephania
Mogire

And they agreed to partner with the UNSA member and the school association to work as one
and serve the gusii students.
New business of the meeting

The members agreed that each GUSWA student must be registered for better identification and
the registration fee is 100bob per member .All the gusii students must remind and mobilize
their fellows and ensure that they attend the meeting next week

Vincent Nyakwach our leader also said that all our representatives that’s in UNSA and the
COUNCIL should partner with GUSWA and also he will be our spokes person as a leader.

All the members should also have aKRA Pinot maybe certificate as a requirement in order to
creat an account for the association and creation of a certificate for registration and easy
enhancing of projects

GUSWA declaration will also be held on Sunday and all members are urged to attend since it
will be an important session for the well being of the association and also know more about the
association and the MAIN AIM OF GUSWA.(note)

The meeting was adjourned at 18:30by Wislay Ombati,with a closing prayer from Zephaniah.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday next week in the same venue(hyslop building)at
4:30pm

Kindly note that there will be GUSWA declaration which will be held on Sunday on3rdApril
and all members are urged to attend.
