Somatic Cell Cycle Movie

Part I
A.Someone in your group needs to go to the app store & download webcamtoy. This
will be used to take pictures that will be inserted into your cell cycle movie OR if
you have a cell phone, this is the best option to take your pictures!!!!!!

B. Using the materials given create each portion of the cell cycle on your desktop.
The desktop will represent the cytoplasm of the cell.

C. Each picture must include 1. The title of the phase in the cell cycle
2. All vocabulary correct labeled in the phase

M(mitosis) Phase (Word Only Pic) NO VOCABULARY for THIS!

Part II - See next page!!!!
1. In the app store download wevideo-video editor & maker or Kizoa or animoto,
KINEmaster, iMovie, Canva or another of your choice!!
2. Upload all the photos you took into the video maker program or on the cell
phone to create your group's cell cycle video.
3. Place the pictures in the correct order as they occur in the cell cycle & make
sure that each phase is named
4. Add A TITLE SLIDE with everyone’s name in the group & hour. You may also,
if you wish, add a group pic. & music(extra credit).
5. Turn the video into google classroom

Skin cells damaged by the sun being removed

Skin cells that have gone through the cell cycle in a petri dish for a burn victim.

Your Individual OR group’s video will be due at the end of class on March
14th!
