Inflation Script
Inflation Script
Philippines economy will experience solid growth in 2022 thanks to a strong recovery in domestic
demand and the lifting of COVID-19 mobility limitations in the nation (ADB). In spite of increasing
inflation brought on by both local and global price pressures
Compared to the July projection of 4.9% and 4.2% in the ADO 2022 report, inflation is now anticipated
to pick up to 5.3% in 2022, supported by strong increases in the price of commodities and energy around
the world. Natural catastrophes' detrimental effects on the domestic agriculture supply are projected to
drive up food costs through the end of the year. Because of the return to solid economic growth, which
will keep inflation relatively constant, and the likelihood of a slowdown in energy prices, the inflation
projection for 2023 is maintained at 4.3%.

MMFF
The 48th iteration of the yearly Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), which takes place in Metro Manila
and throughout the Philippines, will take place in 2022. The Metropolitan Manila Development
Authority will host it (MMDA).
Some of the artists that are starring are Vice Ganda, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Toni Gonzaga. The first four
official movies at this year's MMFF are starring Maria and Coco Martin. Scripts that were submitted
were used to select the top four entries. The controversial sexy movie "Nananahimik Ang Gabi," starring
Ian Veneracion and Heaven Peralejo with Mon Confiado, is also on the list. Soriano will direct his wife
Gonzaga and Joey de Leon in "The Teacher." It's an interesting pairing with MMFF mainstay Vice Ganda
teaming up with YouTube sensation Ivana Alawi in "Partners In Crime." The final entry in the first four is
"Labyu With An Accent" by Coco Martin, who will woo Jodi under the name Rodel Nacianceno. There
are no international movies are screened in Philippine theaters throughout the festival (excluding IMAX
and 4D theaters) because these are destined for our country’s potential when it comes to movies.
