Introduction
AFTA (Africa Free Trade Advisory) is an Non Profit Company that aims to
assist small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in South Africa to become
export-ready and participate in the African Continental Free Trade Area
(AfCFTA). AFTA provides guidance and support to SMEs in navigating the
complex trading environment of the AfCFTA, including:

● Business Opportunity Identification
● Digital Transformation
● Access to finance and networking opportunities
● Advocacy and Policy Engagement
The AfCFTA presents a unique opportunity for South African small businesses
to expand their market reach and access new business opportunities.
However, small businesses face various challenges in navigating the
complexities of the agreement and competing with larger businesses. AFTA
aims to advance the interests of African small businesses in the AfCFTA and
help them thrive in the new trading environment.
