Amal

Amal

I’m sorry for what I’ve said I shouldn’t have behaved this way I’ve been going
through some tough phases lately which is freaking me out and effecting my
mentality and behavior

Ghania

It’s okay I know who you truly are, and I want you to know that your beloved
friend Ghania will always be by your side

Amal

Thank you dear, so will I

Scene 2: on the university hallways

Naila

Hey Amal how’s life going

Amal

It’s just going you know, what about you, how are you doing?!

Naila

I’m good thanks for asking, so I accidently overheard your conversation with
Ghania and I just want to tell you to be vigilant and don’t trust whatever she says

Amal

(Confusion expressions appears on her face) what you mean?!

Naila

I mean in the end you’ll end up all alone, hence you need to learn how to lean and
depend on yourself only, seek for perfection and don’t bank on these colored and
disingenuous people

Amal

Thank you Naila, I appreciate your concern about me but I don’t think that she’s a
bad person after all you just don’t know her

Naila

Oh Amal you’re still “niya”, I don’t need to know her to tell that she’s bad. For,
everyone will mistreat you when they have the chance to do so…they will always
be strangers and can’t be trusted and reckoned on just like self whim.

Amal

(carelessly) I’ll take that into consideration...I have class now catch up later.
Scene 3: In the living room

Ghania

Thank you for having me Amal, I’m here because last time we talked you seemed
like you need some help. So, is there anything you want to unwrap?!

Amal

The problem is me Ghania, I know it might sound weird but a feel like I’m a
stranger to myself, like I don’t know it nor understand it as if it’s not mine and it’s
someone else’s persona

Ghania

I’m not gonna lie but yeah I actually find that weird

Amel

It’s not over yet, I feel like I’m always alone and have no one with me when I need
them, everyone says that they do love you and care about you but it’s just words, I
still didn’t figure out how could they utter words they don’t mean with such ease,
don’t you think so?

Ghania

Trust me I do, but you can depend on me, I promise that I’ll never let you down
but there’s some conditions you have to take into consideration. There must be
some sort of assessment between us and always praise each other no matter how
many times people try to underestimate us. Moreover, focus with me on this part
cause it’s the most important one which is understanding one another, we can’t do
a thing if you can’t UNDERSTAND me or I can’t UNDERSTAND you, for
there’s a key in it, we also need to listen to each other because being listened to
and heard is one of the greatest desires of the human heart, and those who learn to
listen to the others are the most loved and respected, and at last my dear friend
Amal as I said and I’ll always keep saying I’ll always be by your side and when
you need me, just look in the mirror and I’ll be there for you.
 Synopsis

A girl named Amal who always had so many friends around her and felt like they
were the right ones and cared about her and in the end she was her only friend

Characters

Amal is a girl, who hopes to find the right friends for her, to treat her well and be
by her side when she needs them.

Ghania as the name “Ghania” means self-sufficient it describes one of Amal

characters which seems to be always with her as her friend and more precisely a
genuine friend.

Naila another character of Amal’s which tries to remind her to take caution about
taking her choices.
