General Avoid triggers, Calamine
lotion and 1% menthol
suppress itching.
Systemic 1) Antihistamines:
•Cetirizine 5-10mg.
•Fexodenadine 180mg.
•Desloratidine 5mg.
•Loratidine 10mg.
•Hydroxyzine 10-50mg at
night.
•Diphenyhydramine 25-
50mg at night.
•Doxepin 10-50mg at
night.
•Cyproheptadine 4mg.
•Cimetidine 400mg.
2) Cyclosporine in severe
disease refractory to
antihistamines.
3) Prednisone in acute
urticaria.
4) Mast cell stabilizer.
5) Montelukast 10mg.
6) Omalizumab.
Syphilis
General 1) Penicillin (drug of Penicillin G 2.4 million
choice). unit for 1ry or 2ry stage,
2) Doxycycline. 7.2 million units for late
latent stage.
Gonorrhea
General 1) Ceftriaxone 250mg.
2) Cefexime 500mg.
3) Ciprofloxacin 500mg.
4) Spectinomycin 2gm.
