Tuscaloosa Farmers Market hosts local businesses weekly

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Local Tuscaloosa businesses

present and sell their products to the community every Saturday at

the Tuscaloosa Farmers Market.

Udderly Joyful Soapworks is just one of the businesses that

sells their products at the farmers market. Their products are made

at their farm located in Adger, Alabama. Their best sellers include

milk soaps, lotions, and lip products which are made from goat

milk.

been very beneficial for my company. I have gained loyal buyers

and have continued to grow over many years,” says the owner of Udderly Joyful Soapworks.

Barry’s Bees, a company owned by Jim and Linda Barry, started beekeeping in 2009.

They have harvested honey and beeswax and sold it through local farmers markets since then.

They have a farm in Fosters, Alabama where they have around 40 beehives.

“We sell many products including, honey sticks, lip balms, candles, jams and more. Our

best seller is the jars of honey. We love selling and sharing our passion for beekeeping with the

public and plan to continue growing our business for many upcoming years,” said Linda Barry.

“I love going for a walk along the water every Saturday and stopping at the farmers

market on the way out. Watching new local businesses grow their brands and sell their work

every Saturday is a highlight of my week,” said Emma Watson, a sophomore at the University of

Alabama.
