2. PLATFORM ASSEMBLY
2.1 Platform installed & secure. Mounting hardware free of damage & secure.
Gates open and latch properly.
2.2 Platform guardrails & floor in place, secure & undamaged.
2.3 Lanyard anchorage points secure, undamaged & labelled.
3. BOOM ASSEMBLY
3.1 Boom section free of damage, distortion & excessive wear.
3.2 All nuts, bolts, pins, shafts, shields, bearings, wear pads, locking devices,
checked for proper installation, no excessive wear, cracks or distortion
3.3 Inspect all sheaves, sheave pins and bearings for proper installation,
secure, no excessive wear, cracks or distortion.
3.4 Boom chains and cables are free of damage, properly installed, properly
torque & properly lubricated.
3.5 Power track is from damage, distortion & excessive wear. Cables hose are
properly routed, no chafing or leaks
3.6 Inspect all cylinder pins, pivot pins, attaching & retention hardware for
damage, distortion & excessive damage.
4. TURN TABLE
4.1 Hood doors open & latch properly
4.2 Hood props in place, secure and functioning properly
4.3 Turntable bearing, swing drive & gear secure & undamaged, properly
lubricated. No missing bearing bolts or signs of looseness.
4.4 Check swing bearing bolt tolerance per the service & maintenance manual.
4.5 Turntable lock secure, undamaged 7 operable (if equipped)
5. CHASSIS
5.1 Wheel rim nuts torque properly.
5.2 Proper tires installed.
5.3 Tires free of gouges & excessive wear, no cords showing. If pneumatic,
properly inflated. Tire bead properly seated around rim.
5.4 Oscillating axle operates properly, lock in place when turntable swings to
side.
5.5 Outrigger/extendible axles operate properly. Interlocks function properly.
6. POWER SYSTEM
6.1 Engine idle, throttle & RPM set properly.
6.2 Battery fluid levels correct.
6.3 Battery charger scrolls through diagnostic when plugged in.
6.4 Batteries accept charge
6.5 Air & fuel filter clean.
6.6 Fuel, coolant and engine oil level correct.
6.7 Fuel cap tight & vent open.
6.8 Exhaust free of leaks.
7. HYDRAULIC/ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
7.1 All cylinders free of damage, no evidence of leaks.
7.2 All area around hydraulic components (pump, oil lines, reservoir) free of oil,
no evidence of leaks.
7.3 Hydraulic oil free of contaminants, hydraulic filters clean.
7.4 Hydraulic level in tank & torque hubs correct.
7.5 Hydraulic tank cap tight & vent open.
7.6 All hydraulic fitting & lines secure, free of damage, chafing & leaks.
7.7 All electrical connections tight, no corrosion or abrasions.
7.8 Instruments, switches, gauges, horn and lights operate properly.
7.9 Pump & motor secure, undamaged & free of leaks.
7.10 All hydraulic pressures properly adjusted.
8. MANUAL & DECALS
8.1 ANSI/ SIA manual of responsibilities in manual storage box.
8.2 Operator & safety manual in manual storage box.
8.3 AEM handbook in manual storage box.
8.4 Capacity decal installed & legible at both platform & ground stations.
8.5 All safety & instructional decals installed, secure & legible.
9. OTHERS
9.1 Lift is free of unauthorized modifications or additions.
9.2 Paint and overall appearance.
9.3 Applicable safety bulletins completed.

9.4 Inspect general structural conditions including all welds.

9.5 Grease and lubricate per service & maintenance manual.
9.6 Drive & operate machine to test all machine functions.
9.7 Record inspection date on "IMPORTANT” decal on frame.
9.8 If ownership has changed, complete attached owner update form and return
to Genie.
