working area and the second is storage area. This company product vegetable net and thread.

arranging in ground floor .There are four types of machinery are use in working area. Those are

The HSE book helped me a lot.
I visit the company to get internal source of this organization, I went to this workplace and
interviewed with the worker. They told me about the hazard are present there, those are left in
visual inspection and they are tell me PPE are also provide to protect ourselves from the danger
of electricity. But mostly people don’t know anything about it. For example workers wear the mask
in textile mill. If workers doesn’t wear mask at work can cause serious damage to their lungs.
Dust substance hazard can be control by wearing mask, good housekeeping and passing fresh
air in company.
After this inspection, I picked the accident book, audit record, maintenance report and risk
assessment. And check the record of last 6 month and whether I check what accident are
happening again what steps have been taken to address these dangers. I also checked what
disease present in worker. Due to which absence of workers in company. And they are being
treated are not.
After this process, I referred notes those made during inspection. I help myself and decide all
action those are control all measure hazard.

doing work he is dependent on his family for source of income and food. Any worker didn’t consider
alone, Rather his injuries effect his entire family. Besides, there is no one to earn at home. He may
also be completely disable due to accident. His wife may also have to work to support the family.
Society does not accept unsafe condition of company. It can also damage the company reputation.
Worker did not feel safe themselves physically and mental. Moral will be down of all worker. It
becomes the moral responsibility of employer ensure the health and safety of worker.
Legal Argument:
It is the company responsibility to operate in accordance with international standard law. It is also
the responsibility of company. All of them follow rules and regulation is apply to all company
employer those are ensure health and safety for worker. Strict action should be taken against
anyone employer those fail to perform his duties. If the law is broken, So, warning letter are also
issued against employer in the shape of prohibition action and corrective notice. Besides that, legal
agency employer of company or related person can also call by court. He could be jailed or fined.
The chance of will be close due to catastrophic condition.

Due to sudden accident, mall has face big financial loss. Money that the mall spends on accident
prevention will be spent before the accident after the accident loss is greater. After the accident,
mall will be give sick pay to injured person. Machinery and equipment those was damage spend
more on it. Due to accident, company will hire a new staff, and it will take a lot of time to train him.

Due to an accident, company reputation will be down, and it became difficult to gets contracts in
future. Morale of worker will be effective they will not feel safe workplace. Lots of time will spend to

expenses will be paid by company has not taken any kind of information. Mall will have to bear all
these costs because mall does not have its own insurance policy.
1. Must replace the damaged wire of Trulzschler TD-8 machine and installed double insulated
wire with machine. (Electricity).
The ILO C167- safety and health in construction convention 1988, clearly mention that it is
employer responsibility to protect live cables from electricity shock hazard and installed cables
which are fully insulated and same convention article 26 mention it is employer responsibility to
fully maintenance the electric cables and provide safe system to workers.
Also Pakistan factories act 1934 Article 33-l bound employer to check the machine parts like
cables and motors and if it defective then replace it and give worker healthy environment.
Likelihood of harm occurring is very high because maintenance electric team come daily and
check machine brake down. And works four to five hours in a shift. In this team 20 people
involved and all are at high risk when they contact with highly damaged machine wire, due to
no proper supervision increases likelihood of hazrd

machine brake down without isolation power of supply. When the maintenance team work and
they may face electric current due to damage wire then they may get serious injuries like body
burning, side paralysis, nervous system damage and death by paralysis of heart due to high
voltage. Also due to short circuit the machine is totally damage. So this severity is in between
major to catastrophic.

According to ILO C167 Article 29 it is a responsibilities of employer to make sure a separated area
for flammable material like solid, liquid and gases that catch fire and to protect their worker from fire
hazard.
Also ILO Recommendation R164-occupational safety and health clearly mention that it is employer
responsibility to protect explosive material from heat and fire.
According to Pakistan factories act 1934 article 33-L clearly mention that employer must barricade
the area where explosive material place and no heat activity performed near flammable material.
The likelihood of this hazard is very high because during the break time workers continuously
smoke near the area where diesel drum place, and also there is no sufficient control to fire like fire
extinguishers. And also 70 workers work in area that performed 10 hours duty and all are at high
risk of fire. So this hazard has very high likelihood.

the mill machines are destroy totally.
By develop separated ventilated area for diesel drum storage result no direct contact of worker
smoke spark and diesel drum and smoke spark not hit diesel drums by this way no explosion and
fire occur.
To accomplish this target I give 3 week timescale. The site supervisor talk to company general
manager and agree him for importance of separated ventilated area for diesel drum storage then
proper documentation proceed and company hire certified contractor that built separated area for
diesel drum storage. So in all documentation and proceeding three week spend.
By my opinion by taken this step the action may not fully control hazard, for control hazard fully
regular supervision of storage area and separated area for smoking of worker is necessary.
1. Should installed the guard rail around the scaffold. (Work at Height)
The ILO Recommendation R175 state that “Every scaffold should be properly design and
fully maintain for prevent of collapse”. The working platform of scaffold are fully protected
and must guardrail around scaffold.
Also the Article 18 of ILO Convention C167 clearly mention that it is employer prime
responsibility to take suitable steps to protect workers that work on height the scaffold is
fully guarded so worker protect from falling during height.
The likelihood of this hazard is very high the worker performed welding at height on scaffold without
guard rail and also no body harness given the workers and they performed continuously welding

 about 9 hours and there are 38 workers around scaffold and 5 workers on scaffold. They all affect
when some material or worker fall from scaffold.

height is fully damaged and unrecoverable.

discuss about risk assessment those are present and share minutes of meeting with my finding. So, I will arrange
meeting with supervisor and share all information of hazard which are occur in this company. After meeting with, I
will inform to director of company, I have told the supervisor all the things about risk assessment that I have consult
with you. Then I will arrange a meeting with all worker. In this meeting, I will tell about tool box talk and informed
whose hazard are present in this mall. I will inform everyone about hazard by give training, assigned notice board
and related poster.
I will ensure to my suggestion where they are being act upon or not. I will write in personal dairy or Microsoft
Excel. In diary, I will write include all detail of my suggestion those are implement. I will cost my mall before time
those will give to worker to clear default. I will hire a responsible person those send photography or written verbal
through email on this place whether it has improved are not. If anything are in control whose deadline are passed
but work it remain to be seen. I will ask to concern person what reason will occur and I will try to get the work done
as soon as possible. If there is a shortage of delay carriage worker or may be it is a financial problem. So, I will
concern inform the concern department.
