Is Torvald Helmer really the true villain or victim in the play “A Doll’s House”?

//the society’s expectations from a man and women in a marriage.

How a marriage and family can only work when there are right morals and strong rules
How it wasn’t Torvalds fault that he was like that because society expected that women
should not work
How Torvald did think about the consequences rather than just promptly taking actions
like Nora
Should Nora have really taken that big of loan without even informing her husband later
on, should she even have recklessly done the forgery.
How society played a big role that time e.g: Krogstad got fired and didnt have a good
reputation for him to get hired again, so it justifies the anger of torvald

In Victorian culture, women's primary responsibilities were to marry and take part in their
household’s interests and businesses. Unless they were from an wealthy family, they
would acquire housewife tasks like weaving, cooking, washing, and cleaning before
being married. Wealthy people did not always learn these activities since their servants
took care of the majority of the housework. Since it was a patriarchal world, women
were typically not permitted to attend school or acquire information outside of the house.
Women did not enjoy the same rights as males in patriarchal culture. As a result,
women were given the more feminine responsibilities of taking care of the house and
following their creative interests.
