North Coast doll workshop

It is with great pleasure that I am holding a workshop on May 13&14, 2023 in Baarn, the
Netherlands. We are going to create a 12 inches doll with sculpted face features and turning head.
An experience in hand sewing, embroidery and crochet will be needed, a previous doll
making experience will be helpful.
You are going to create a doll with mohair hair and beige skin like on the pictures. The body
will be pre-sewn by me. During the class you will learn to sculpt doll’s head with dry felting
techniques, to create a wig with weft mohair (color of your choice). You will be also taught to stuff
the body with wool and attach different body’s parts.
On the day of the workshop you will be provided with : pre-sewn doll’s body, mohair weft
for the hair, carded sheep’s wool, different threads, felting needles, pattern and instructions. I will be
happy to include a pattern for an outfit as well.
You could bring with you your favorite stuffing tool.
The workshop will start at 9am till 6pm with a lunch break. The lunches for both days are
provided, coffee and tea will be served during the day as well.
During the class videos are not allowed, you are free to take pictures. I am going to bring a
finished doll with me.
This two-day workshop is offered for 450 EUR per person. Payment is to be done by April
10th, 2023 by PayPal or bank transfer.
The workshop will take place in Baarn (about 35 km and 40 min by train from Amsterdam),
the exact address will be provided upon registration. You could book an accommodation on
booking.com in Amersfoort (7 min by train from Baarn).
