Overhaul Procedure for Cargo Oil Pump

It has been mention about overhaul procedure for Cargo oil pump.
Please be careful and caution the "※" marks.

A) Overhaul
1) Close the suction and discharge valve, and liquid(cargo) drain out in pump
2) Remove the intermediate shaft protection cover
3) Remove the intermediate shaft (Disconnect the coupling for upper and lower)
4) Remove the thermosensor, sealing pipes and drain pipe
5) Disconnect the mechanical seal cover for upper and lower
6) Remove the casing bolts and nuts
7) Prepare for lifting by using chain block and eye bolt
8) Gradually tighten the jacking bolts and pull out the casing cover
※ Casing cover shall be maintained vertical position during pulling out.
9) Install the nylon sling at coupling (Refer to the photo)
※ The nylon sling shall be install as becomes center.

10) Remove the upper and lower bearing housing cover

11) Pull out the rotation element
※ Rotation element shall be maintained vertical position during pulling out.
※ Lower mouth ring fall down when rotation element pulling out,
so must be catch it.
12) Rotation element move to workshop

B) Cleaning
1) Cleaning the surface for pump casing & cover (Use sandpaper and scotch bright)
2) Cleaning the pump casing & cover internal, and especially the mouth ring groove
