Supermarket Employee praised for saving a woman

A supermarket employee is being praised for his heroic actions when, authorities said he
stopped a man from attacking a woman.
According to authorities a woman walking home after buying some food from the supermarket
when suddenly a boy behind her started to attack her. The woman started screaming for help as
the suspect hit her head against the ground before she lost her conscience. Luckily, Michael a
supermarket employee working nearby was passing by and help her.
The woman told deputies that she’s on her way going home carrying a lot of money in her purse.
The boy knew this because he had seen putting away her money at the supermarket. The woman
said the man was carrying a stick and “wielding it in a way she believed he would use it as a
weapon.” He followed her and then, on the street, he grabbed her purse and pushed her. She fell
down and hit her head against the ground, she also fainted. Michael who saw everything ran to
intervene and quickly called an ambulance. Michael punched the man in the face but did not
seriously injure him. Witness took a picture of the mugger to show to police before other people
run over to help. Michael then holds the man down.
Apparently, thanks to Michael, the woman is still alive. A few minutes more and maybe she
wouldn’t be able to tell. Also, thanks to the photo the police was able to catch the suspect and
charged with robbery. Its not clear whether he has obtained an attorney who can speak on his
behalf.
