Alemnesh Gezahegn Haile

Alemnesh is 12 years old who lives in Yeka subcity wereda 11 in a village called
Kotebe. She is learning grade seven class at Dejazmach Wondirad Primary School.
The School is ___km away from her home. She is living in rental home near “and
fermata asphalt road” Alemnesh has one older brother who lives with them. Her
father left them with uknown reason. Alemnesh want to change her mother
economic and social status to higher and following her health.

about the foundation

alemnesh had joined mission 10:10 foundation before four years ago. She said
that she is getting all offered aids from the foundation such as tutorial class and
snack and monthly distribution, gifts and other

Education

Alemnesh had 4th rank in the past year academic year and got average score of
89.9 out of 100. She is participating in Environmental Prtotection club in her
school. She loves citizenship subject and social studies is a difficult subject for her.
She admires maths teacher because he revise lesson. She doesn’t comfort with
social studies teacher because he took time by giving bulk of notes on the
blackboard rather than lectureing

Extra time

She spend her extra time by playing and watching Amharic movies on week days.
On weekends, she had tutorial class near class on Saturdays and Sundays
morning. In those day afternoon she will go to church education to Kotebe St.
Gebriel church.

Social life

She had three friends in her village and many friends at school. She selects friends
if they have permanent character and talkative.

How is mother and child

The mother and child mostly spend their time with speaking mostly live their life
by the mother feed her child, pack lunch, wash her clothes and help to take
shower, going to church, visit kins , hosting guests and sleeping together. The
mother mostly follow the hygine of her child alemnesh, the mother said alemnesh
show little bit carelessness on keeping her hygine. However the mother follows
and help her to keep her hygine like washing hairs, pasting oils and arranging her
clothes. The mother advice her child to select good character friends, rather than
bad character habits and to wake up early to reach school on the right time and
come quickly from school. She always warn her to come to home quickly because
she may expose to different types of harrasement and accident on the way to
home. Alem advice her child not to accept the invitation of her child’s friends to
go to other places excluding school. Because there are two types of friends that
could lead a child to the right or wrong way. Her mother also advise her to be
active in every situation of her life and to be strong as her mother. Alemitu also
order her child to help her on some home activities like cleaning home and
washing dishes. Additionaly Alemitu is showing her daughter how to make foods
such as baking enjera and cooking wot. She said that this will help in her future
life of marriage. However the mother said she is sensitive to her time of studing,
making home work sleep and relaxing. She order those activities if her daughter
has extra time. When her mother is left home for different affairs she prepares
food for her child. Alemnesh loves to go to church with her mother
Character of Alemnesh

Alemnesh is serious she donot want to communicate with her kins and other
societal groups. Their kins will spent time in their home but she do not want to
spend her time in her kinships home even with her equal age cousins. Her
mother’s don’t know what make her happy or sad. Her mother always tells her
not to expect her for every activity. She wants her to have some responsibility
about taking care of herself. Alemnesh is not wishing extra things to be bought for
her. Her mother reported that she is treating her daughter as much as she could,
but because Alemnesh’s poor hygine habit, they perceive she faced malnutrition.

Family health

The mother had spinal and west pain, that is resulted from previous heavy work
load such as cloth washing. Moreover her left eye lash is injured because of
uneducated traditional physician mistake. He cut her lower eyelash by blade this
exposes her eyeball to outside and deform her eye’s shape recently. Alemnesh
had pain on her west that is resulted from kidney infection, recently the pain is
decreasing. Her mother reported that she do not drink water at all. She drinks a
little amount of water while she is eating.
Pray request

They both asked a pray that God give them health life with out sickness.

Dicipline

Alemnesh in not mostly engaged in doing wrong activities but if there her mother
will take discipline measures. Her mother reported that she is getting corretcted
and her resposnse to the measure is positive. They have eye contact language.
Alemnesh detects the message what her mother is going to transmit.
