certain vernacular newspaper entitled the " Kesari ''\ by printed words brought or attempted to
bring into hatred or contempt or excited or attempted to excite feelings of disaffection towards the
Government

An article headed by the words having the impact of provoking the common people in columns 4 & 5
of page 4 and columns 1 & 2 of page 5 .he is charged in the first instance under section 124A
concerning the Article of 12th May 1908 which is exhibit cC in the case.that is the first charge: that is
the charge of sedition:and that is the only charge so far as the first article is concerned.The next
charge is again the charge of sedition concerning the article of 9 th June 1908 and the third charge is a
charge under section153A concerning the same article.
