The public eye has been turned towards the constant suffering of the nurses from
handling the day-to-day struggles. As such, the nursing profession has been brought back to its
core theories as a guide in handling the situation. The importance of handwashing and the

public that prevention is always better than the cure plus the care we provide when the patient is
confined at the hospital. The care nurses provide will greatly depend on the needs of the patient.

From the spiritual, emotional and physical stand point. It has shown that we can manage the pre-
existing factors in order to prevent further harm to the patient. Care starts from the prevention, to
the adaptation of care once the symptoms start or worsens and finally moving on to the recovery
phase.

core theories in mind, we were able to provide quality care to each of our patients albeit the lack
of public preparedness.
