Summary – Ice cream

Americans have been inventing new ways to enjoy ice cream for decades.
Customized creams growing popularity by pushing the drinkers toward the sweeter
advice.
1920s really were the golden age of ice cream it was the chance when ice cream
had really become so entrenched as part of America. Ice cream production in the
united states rose 71% from 148 million gallons to 254 million gallons.
Nelson had an idea, ice cream covered in hard chocolate, so he started
experimenting the discovered that he had problem getting chocolate to adhere to
ice cream then a candy salesman told him to add cocoa butter to the chocolate
because that would have it adhere to the ice cream. Nelson headed the chocolate
to around 90 degrees Fahrenheit and quickly dipped in as frozen vanilla bars and
he started marketing this ice cream bar that he called the ice cream bar.
1921 and by 1922 Americans were consuming a million bars a day, the product
became even more popular when it was sold out of the state of the art and thermal
jug chilled with dry ice. One of these novelty products would rise above all the
others all because of a little stick of wood, first came up with the chocolate covered
vanilla bar similar to the skimo pie but when he handed it over to his daughter for a
taste he watched as she quickly became covered in melted chocolate.
The daughter suggested freezing the chocolate covered ice cream with sticks
inside to create a handlemaking the treat much less messy to eat this was a
successthat could stick and harden on ice cream and resulted in the creation of the
first ice cream barsby.
The inspiration he got from a boy who in his store was not able to decide, due to
money, between an ice cream or a chocolate bar, and it occurred to him to mix the
chocolate bar and the ice cream thus creating a new product that would become
popular to this day, however the new product was changing so the ice cream bar
was placed a stick to hold it. In the same way, another way to sell ice cream was to
go out and sell it in the “ice cream truck” so the children could buy more.
The first ice cream bar on a stick was invented, it was the new clean convenient
way to eat ice cream. They had ice cream trucks called GOD HUMOR and it was
fantastic because what you're doing is taking the product to the customer or taking
it to the streets. it really made good humor wildly successful but driving a truck
could be a dangerous job.
Were franchised with Top Rimmer and he brought a new franchise and took it to
Chicago in 1929. The results of publicity really drove the brand of good humor into
the national spotlight and really helped it take hold on a national level.
The company Ben & Jerry', the creators of that same company tell us how they
grew within the market creating strategies, and different ways of making ice cream
doing it in a fun way and that this would attract children and different people that
they would consume.
There were over 85 different treatsgood humor expanded its lineup to include
chocolate burst cones chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, etc.
