Scenario 1( at the party)

MC: Hello everyone let me have attention please
Congregation: As they take a site while talking to each other and drinking
Mc: So lets us all have a site, as you know we are here to celebrate our son’s graduation party
and before we start let us have his uncle pray for us.

Uncle: Praying
Mc: Thank you Mr. Benjamin for the word of prayer and let us know have Jabali’s mom give us
a welcoming speech as she also welcome her son to share with us his life journey up to today.

Jabali’s mom: Dear my son Jabali congratulation your family and I love you so much, As you can
see we have organized a graduation party so that we can help you enjoy to the fullest. Since
the death of your father you have always become a very good child to me and the society too.
We really appreciate your hard work to this achievement. So without taking a lot of time I have
prepared for you a gift.

Mc: Thank you so much mom for your precious speech, so now let us welcome Jabali as he also
shares with us his speech too.

Jabali: Dear mom and my family, Thank you so much for this wonderful party that you have
organized for me. Thank you, mom, for believing in me. You inspired me to work harder, and
because of that, I have achieved what seemed to be an impossible . I must have done something
great in my previous life to deserve a mother like you. I thank the universe for giving me an
angel in human form. I love you mom( As he hugs his mom). I just wonder what makes you so
selfless. I remember you used to get up very early morning to help me get ready for school no
matter the hard time we were going through.( As he is crying)

Scenario 2( At the village during early morning hours)

Mom: Son get up and go to bring water.
Jabali: Mom what time is it( as he is scratching himself)

Scenario 3( at the well)

Children: shouting
Then we show jabali carrying a big jerrycan on his head, as goes home sad

Scenario 4 ( at home while jabali is washing his legs)

 Jabali’s mom: my son Jabali as you go to school remember to work hard in class maybe one
day you will become someone very important in your community.

Jabali: Yes mom I will try my best

Scenario 5(At school in class teacher enters)

Teacher: Good morning kids, How are you doing today( She greets as she enters)
Students: We are fine thank you teacher.
Teacher: Okay have a site, who of you remember what we learnt yesterday?
Students: Me teacher( While shouting )
Teacher: Yes Jacob;
Jacob: Yesterday we leant about the human parts of the body.
Teacher: That’s good, so today we are going to look at the body parts of a butterfly, hi Jabali
why are sleeping in class this early morning didn’t your mother give you food last night.
Students: All laughing at jabali

Teacher: jabali stand and go out side.

Scenario 6( We show the mom while she is in garden digging while singing)

Fending moment when the students are all going home

We have the boy entering the house and he looks in the pot and finds when there is no food,
then he gets out and sits on the stone outside the house.( He starts talking to himself why
didn’t mom cooking doesn’t she know that I am hangry)

Scenario 7( We come back to where he started remembering in the party)

Jabali: She was never angry at me for making a fuss when things didn’t go my way. I was too
naive back then to understand her selfless love and sacrifices. I really love you mom.
