Paper Code: BTCSE 104/BTCSEAl 104/BTECE 104
Time: 3 Hours Maximum Marks: 75
IMPORANT
(i) Write your Name, Enrollment Number and Section on First sheet.
(ii) Save your answer sheets in a single pdf file with your Enrollment Number and Name.

Course Outcomes:
CO1: Comprehend general projection theory, with emphasis on orthographic projection to represent
three-dimensional objects in two-dimensional views (principal, auxiliary, sections).
CO2: Dimension and annotate two-dimensional engineering drawings.
CO3: The application of industry standards and best practices applied in engineering graphics.
CO4: Emphasize freehand sketching to aid in the visualization process and to efficiently communicate
ideas graphically
CO5: Introduce CAD software for the creation of 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.

distance of 5.37 m on the scale
A circle of 80 mm diameter rolls on the circumference
of another circle of 120 mm radius and inside it. Draw
Q.2 the locus of the point P on the circumference of the 7 CO2 L3
rolling circle for one complete revolution of it. Name
the curve & draw
Draw a Hyperbola when the distance of its focus from

Q.4 behind left PP (Profile plane) and point R 40 mm 7 CO3 L4
below HP, 30 mm behind VP, and 25 mm behind right
PP (Profile plane),
A line AB, 65 mm long, has its end A 20 mm above
the H.P. and 25 mm in front of the V.P. The end B is
Q.5 40 mm above the H.P. and 65 mm in front of the V.P. 7 CO1 L5

A hexagonal plane of side 30 mm and having hole of
diameter of 30 mm has an edge in the VP. The surface
Q.1 of the plane is inclined at 45° to the VP and the edge on 20 CO4 L3
which it rests is inclined at 30 degrees to the HP. Draw
its projections.
A cone, 50 mm base diameter and 70 mm axis is
standing on its base on HP. It cut by a section plane 45°
Q.2 inclined to Hp through base end of end generator. Draw 20 CO3 L3
projections, sectional views, true shape of section and
development of surfaces of remaining solid.
A frustum of a pentagonal pyramid of base edge 40 mm,
top edge 20 mm and axis 60 mm is resting on its face
Q.3 on the HP. Draw its projections when an edge of its base 20 CO1 L2
is parallel to the VP and the small base is towards the
observer.
