Versant for Web Test Instructions

BEFORE THE TEST

Ÿ You need a computer with a reliable internet connection.

Ÿ You need a headset with a built-in microphone.

Ÿ Make sure you are in a quiet room away from distractions.

Go to www.VersantCheck.com and follow the instructions to make sure your

system and test environment are compatible with Versant for Web.

DURING THE TEST

Ÿ Keep the microphone 3-5 cm away from your mouth.
Do not touch the microphone when you speak.

Ÿ Speak at a normal conversational speed and volume.

Ÿ If you don’t know the answer to a question, be silent or say, “I don’t know.”

Ÿ You are not allowed to take notes.

Ÿ You cannot pause the test.

STARTING AND ENDING THE TEST

1. Go to https://www.versanttest.com/scorekeeper/take-test

2. Enter your TIN, click on “Validate” and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Select Web and click on “Start test” to launch the test.

4. Enter your Test Identification Number (TIN) and click “Next”.

5. At the end of the test, click “Finish.”
