PARENTS – TEACHERS CONFERENCE (A brief narration)

Last November 12, 2022, Saturday after almost 2 years of non-actual appearance with one of the
stakeholders of San Gabriel Elementary School, which are the parents; due to the pandemic that brought devastation in
our country; a Parent – Teachers Conference was held inside the school premises.
A first – after almost years that the students are under the blended learning and mass gathering are strictly
prohibited, all parents together with their children who are enrolled in SGES participate on the said assembly, following a
mandated health protocol by the government; wearing of face mask, and still observing social distancing.
The conference aims to disseminate the learning developments of the students, to know problems
encountered during the opening of classes and positive developments of returning to pre pandemic mode of learning
which is face to face modality.
The program scheduled for the fourth grade started not too late, because of some unexpected incident
happened to the schedule of other grade level. The master of ceremony (yours truly) called out the parents in the premises
to start gather in the covered court for the program.
The conference started with a welcome greeting followed by prayer (Ms. Liezel P. Nievales), this was
proceeded with the presentation of the grade chairman (Ms. Elma S. Misar) by the teachers who are member of grade 4.
After such, the newly designated school principal of SGES Dr. Natividad V. Nacino gave a message to each end everyone
parents and teachers that will inspire us to work together for the benefit of the students at our school. She intricates the
battle cry BASTA’T SAMA SAMA, KAYANG KAYA! She also reminds the first quarter performance of the student
was just a beginning of their journey in grade 4.
Rules and regulations inside the school premises were discussed by on of the Master Teacher in grade 4
and also a guidance teacher, Maam Emee L, Gacula. The Flow Of Communication were next discussed by Mr. Montano
D. Pinlac, Master Teacher in grade 6 and our SGES Faculty President.
Before heading to respective rooms for the issuance of Report Card the assembly ended by the closing
remarks of another Master Teacher in Grade 4, Maam Felicidad C. Oracion

ISSUANCE OF FIRST QUARTER PROGRESS REPORT

AND PARENT – TEACHER MEETING (a brief narration)
After the assembly happened in the covered court of the school, parents head their way inside the
respective classroom of their child/children, to meet the classroom advisers.
Glad to say that the parents of Grade 4 – Diamond were all present, as I have announced early of the
week about the meeting and I remind them how strict I am when it comes to this meeting, for them to know the learning
progress of their child inside the classroom.
One of our agenda that we discussed inside the classroom are the following:
1. Pupils’ academic performance
2. Behavior
3. Attendance
4. Classroom beautification/cleanliness
5. December activities
6. Books
7. School forms…..other matters
Our classroom meeting ended up by signing the report card of my students.
