Respected sir/ma’am,

I am Rajat Kumar, a prospective student for Canada. I am a permanent resident of Vill

Tehi Jattan, PO Chagnouli, Yamunanagar Haryana, India. I have submitted an application
for student visa to study BBA Project Management in Yorkville University. I have received
letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the University for above mentioned course.

My Qualification/Academic

I have been consistent student in my education till date. I did my Matriculation in 2018
under Central Board of Secondary education and also my Senior Secondary with 76%
(commerce stream) under same board in 2020. In senior secondary education I studied
accountancy, business studies, as core subjects.
In 2020 the whole world was facing the unprecedented situation of COVID-19 due to
which the higher education institutes and universities were only providing online
education. As I only wanted to learn face to face as it becomes easier to learn by this
method.
After completion of senior secondary education I took admission in NEIMT and pursued
diploma in business management to equip my self with the basics business management
skills.

WHY NOT INDIA

Initially, I was passionate about my job and performed all my tasks effectively but later,
during my work experience, I realized my incompetence in business knowledge and skills
to seek growth. So, I prepared my mind to increase my ability and according to my
research, I found that it is only possible if I would have an BBA degree in my academics.
So, I decided to add an BBA to my profile, and parallel to my job duties, I started looking
for renowned Institutes in India. While exploring I found that there is an admission criterion
to become a student of any of these Indian institutes, I have to give an entrance exams. but
cracking these entrance exam will take one year and reservation policy make it even
tougher to crack these entrances. Apart from this, the Indian education system focuses on
theoretical knowledge, but I needed to maintain an equal balance between the practical and
theoretical aspects. Along with this, the Indian education system is quite different from that
of the foreign nations. The curriculum in foreign countries is known to be more
advantageous than the Indian and based on practical knowledge. Whereas in India, the
focus is on
theoretical knowledge and students acquire marks by cramming the syllabus only.
Therefore, I made up my mind to pursue my studies at the international level.

RESEARCH ABOUT CANADA
Thereafter, with the help of my parents, I finalized Canada for my further studies because
Canada is having lots of educational institutes and all of these are supported by the
Canadian government and the tuition fee in Canada is lower than in other countries like
UK, USA. Moreover, a Canadian degree is highly recognized by the top multinational
companies as well as the quality of study is recognized around the globe. I found Canada as
the best education destination because the education system of Canada offers higher
education to claim better career opportunities on the global platform. In overall comparison
with other countries, I found Canada is better in terms of quality of education, research
facilities, attitude towards international students, and an open-minded society. Furthermore,
the multicultural environment of Canada allows students to interact with people of all
backgrounds and ethnicities. These are the main reasons for choosing Canada.

My purpose of visit -
My sole purpose of visit to Canada is to gain further studies at international level. My
objective of studying in Canada is to equip myself with advanced academic qualification
and practical knowledge in the field of Business Management. I am a genuine student
and have clear intentions to return to India after completion of my studies in Canada.
International education will boost my ways of thinking by experiencing different cultures
first-hand. Canada is a bilingual country, which makes studying in Canada an
excellent opportunity to develop my communication skills and boost my prospects for an
interesting career.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHOSEN UNIVERSITY

Thereafter, parallel to my job duties, I resumed my study abroad plans and searched for the
institute for my BBA program. Among many institutes, I have selected Yorkville
University because I found that this renowned University has been focusing on the vision of
quality, career- oriented education with world-class specializations and provide a link to a
global society. It offers career-focused undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the
business domain, providing students with the necessary understanding to succeed in the
workplace. More importantly, this university is committed to providing relevant, accessible,
and innovative programs of study to the learners, and for ensuring to fulfill this
commitment, they employ a team of Student Recruitment Advisors who assist the
prospective students with any queries they may have during the application process
Because of all this, I have selected Yorkville University for my further study plans.

RESEARCH ABOUT THE PROGRAM

At this university, I will pursue "Bachelor of Business Administration", the duration of this
course will be two years. The course will be completed in four main tiers and the tiers are
as follows:
 Tier 1: Analytical Foundations
 Tier 2: Management Principles and Practices
 Tier 3: Business Applications
 Tier 4: Integration and Implementation
Through this BBA program, I will get a deep understanding by studying subjects like
Business Environment, Human Interfaces, managerial accounting, marketing management,
operations management, financial management, entrepreneurship, business analytics, and
project management, etc.

ACHIEVEMENT ON MY ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Also, I feel very proud to mention here that, on 17 November 2022, I have received a letter
from the side of Yorkville University. It was a letter of "Scholarship for my Academic
Excellence" and I was overwhelmed with happiness after getting this. It is a big fact that
Canadian institutes provide scholarships to excellent students to promote their studies. I
have only heard and read this on many websites but am experiencing it now. It is true that
they promote students on the basis of their academics and therefore, I have received a
scholarship amount of $10,000. It was a moment of joy for my whole family.

Language abilities:
For my current application, I have scored an overall score of 59 in PTE exam with no
module score less than 57 any of the modules (reading- 62, listening- 57, writing 58 and
speaking- 64). My PTE score meets the admission requirement of the proposed course
offered by Yorkville University.

My level of establishment and financial status:

My family has good financial status and also my family has a good amount of savings in
Union Bank of India which complements my level of establishment and stability in India.
My father is a business man who owns a M/S Ravinder Kumar firm of retail business.
My mother is also a businesswoman who owns M/S Suman Boutique centre.

 Saving accounts in the name of my father in Union Bank of India with

current total amount of INR 12,22,538/- Lakhs .

 Net worth of my father with amount of INR 5,06,98,500/
 I have paid my one year of tuition fee to Yorkville University for 1 year with
CAD 15,000.00.
 Deposited CAD 10000.00 as GIC account in ICICI bank .

Future Roadmap
Talking about my future plans, after the completion of my studies, I will come back to
my homeland and start my professional career. India being the 5 th largest economy has
no shortage of jobs for rightful candidates. In addition to this, due to the rising demand
for skilled professionals in India This Program will equip me with essential skill-sets to
pursue my career at managerial position in different segments like in finance,
marketing, sales, digital marketing and majorly get the following job opportunities in
India like:-

Personal Finance Consultant: A Personal Finance Consultant advising clients on

taxes, retirement planning, investments, and insurance decisions, depending on their
financial goals.

Accounts Assistant: The responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will be reconciling

finance accounts, maintaining spreadsheets, credit control, verifying calculations,
working with the Accounts system, reconciliation of direct debit mandates, managing
petty cash transactions etc.

Money Manager: The responsibilities of money managers include research and

finding companies, funds, industries where the managers can find investment, choose
and advise bonds, stocks, currencies, and other investment commodities for funds,
develop investment strategies for individuals and companies, analyzing past and
present financial data, strategy, policy, management of the companies, examine
industry trends and economic factors such as inflation, unemployment rates, etc. I
researched and learned that salaries for accounts managers are competitive, according

level accounting manager salary starts from $39,680 CAD. To summarize, in the short
haul, I want to say that an International degree will make me ready for a job by
improving my skills. By enhancing the job skills, I can work more effectively after the
completion of my studies. I aspire to secure qualitative practical and technical hands-on
exposure in Canada as it plays host to myriad mainstream financial institutions which
leverage cutting-edge technologies for service delivery. In the long run, I want to see
myself in the position of top-tier executive for a large MNC with global footprints.
