    Two adjectives used above have the same suffix – less.
    This suffix can mean either 1. without (treeless area = area
    without trees) or 2. not affected by (tireless = not giving up,
    not being affected by a feeling of tiredness).

    CARELESS – not caring, showing interest


    HELPLESS – unable to do things without the help of others
