I read Edgar Allanpo's book called:The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar.

There
was interesting case in the book when the writer decided to find out if hypnosis
would affect death or stop it.
It was interesting book, because the patient died slowly when he was hypnotized
and after that patient appearance did not change for several months. It was
amazing. How can you imagine a person dying and his appearance not changing??
After a few months, the patient opened his eyes, his body disappeared into air...
I was shocked, but I think that when a person is hypnotized, they does what you
tell them to do, so he was just asleep for several months.
I don't really like fantasy books, but this book was very interesting and I would
love to read more like that.
