HISTORY :

Mr. Keshav Jadhav, the founder of Sunmeet Group, pioneered the operations with his
partner Mr. Gokul Kamat in 1978. Sunmeet Group has been named taking the first part of
the names of their respective mothers Sunanada –SUN and Meetali- MEET that conjoin the
name ‘SUNMEET’.

After acquiring his CHA (Custom house agents) license in the 1987, Mr. Jadhav and Mr.
Kamat began their operations as CnF agents at Mumbai Port. Their first client was Poonj
Sons, a manufacturing firm that makes insulation materials that are exported to Saudi
Arabia. The Sunmeet Group marked tremendous growth after proving its potential to
numerous clients since then and gained recognition as a company that facilitates clients with
high-quality and tailor-made services.

In 1992, the Sunmeet Logistic had to bear the loss of Mr. Gokul Kamat.

Mr. Jadhav has been handling the business operations with his son’s Mr. Yuvraj Jadhav &
Mr. Kauntey Jadhav since then, leading the group towards the path of expansion and
growth.

Mr. Yuvraj & Mr. Kauntey is the new generation entrepreneur with a greater vision to take
the group forward. Their vision prompted the movement and accumulation of different
businesses under the sole banner of Sunmeet Group.

Freight Forwarding

We manage all kinds of freight forwarding services like International Freight Forwarding, Air
Freight Forwarding and Sea Freight Forwarding. We deal closely with shipping agents and
freight forwarding agents in order to provide quick yet efficient logistic management
solutions to our clients.

Custom Clearance

Customs Clearance is the most crucial part of the logistics management. It includes tedious
procedures like trade inquiry, document handling, etc. Sunmeet Group ensures that the
custom clearance and transportation procedures are done with utmost accuracy with an
objective to give hassle-free experience to the clients.

Other Services...

DEEC/DEPB/E.O.U. Shipments are handled with utmost care to avoid any problems at later
stage while DEEC logging or DEPB verification. The other activities include Excise refund,
obtaining proof of Export, Insurance Claims, Drawback claims and DEEC Audit, etc.

We have successfully handled and executed the large Nos. of break bulk consignments of
Imports & Exports, Project Clearance of Plant & Machinery and Raw Materials. Having very
good support with Custom Officials, Port authorities as well as with most of the leading
Steamer Companies & Transport Contractors.
