In the current global scenario better quality, low cost with higher
productivity are major factors for any enterprise to flourish. To cope up with the
ever increasing market competition, low cost automation is the safest strategy. A
low cost automated packing machine can be used by small enterprises which
would help reduce their cost of plant. Especially, the packaging industry also has
advanced leaps and bounds over the few years. The pouch packaging machines
also known as Form Fill and Seal Machines (FFS Machines) are available over a
wide capacity range.

The reason behind FFS technology is to reduce the contamination during

production in a closed sterile chamber of a machine. Thus there should be no
personnel intervention to reduce the chances of contamination during the
manufacturing of sterile products. Mostly in Food and Beverages packging
industry, all steps such as formation of packet, filling of packet with content and
sealing of packets are performed sequentially, consistently and automatically in a
closed sterile chamber of machine. It increases the production rate in very low
operational cost with high assurance of sterility.

It is very expensive to install those packaging machines in any industry,

We implemented a cost effective automatic package system using
microcontroller.
