I am writing in response to the open position for Fire Officer B in your office. I finished my
Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology at the University of Cebu– Banilad Campus and passed
the Criminologists Licensure Examination last November 2019. As a licensed criminologist, I
would like to bring my commitment, dedication, and service capable of ensuring safety to the
passengers as the primary priority and all the airport’s facilities and equipment. I am motivated
to
make the most of my enthusiasm and physical stamina in realizing the mission of the Mactan
Cebu International Airport Authority in providing a hazard-free environment to the locals and
foreigners and successfully connecting Cebu to the world.

During my on-the-job training, I gained experience in fire safety policies. This training helped
me improved my skills in risk assessment and understood fire safety procedures and
compliance.  Though I have no prior work experience in this field, I am confident that I have the
skills and abilities required for this position. I am an enthusiastic, resourceful, and diligent
person with an inherent interest in fire safety. I am eager to work for your office to handle
emergencies in an efficient manner.
