II. Program Background Rationale

1. To support the DepEd Learning Recovery Program , PINHS - Mathematics


Department will conduct the LAC Session focusing on assisting teachers to
support learning recovery. This aims to discuss the adaptive strategies most
especially in developing comprehension activities and enhancing reading
interventions and enrichment program.

III. Program Description

Pansol Integrated National High School- Mathematics Department is composed of 9


teaching personnel.
With this kind of activity, the teacher-participants will be equipped with knowledge and
understanding about the strategies in developing reading comprehension activities and
intensifying reading enrichment for non numerate learners.

IV. Learners Target Description

All the teachers of Pansol Integrated National High School- Mathematics Department
are expected to participate on site LAC session.
Names of proposed participants are listed in the attached sheet. (Attachment A)

V. Workplace Development Objectives

The following results are expected from this SLAC:


 Impact:
Well-informed Mathematics teachers on developing reading comprehension
activities for non numerate learners.
 Organizational outcome:
Increase the school performance level in numeracy.
Providing students with quality numeracy materials.
 Outputs:
Numeracy enrichment activities
 Competencies:
Ability to implement the new intervention numeracy activities in transforming
instruction into an effective and awesome method.

VI. Program Learning Objectives

TERMINAL OBJECTIVE:
 Provide appropriate reading strategies to teachers by crafting new enrichment
activities.

ENABLING OBJECTIVES:
 Share and discuss effective enrichment activities to support struggling readers.
 Provide samples of specially designed enrichment activities to intensify numeracy
intervention.
 Craft/developing numeracy materials needed for the intervention activities at
home.

VII. Workplace Application Project or Job Embedded Learning

The teachers will be empowered to ignite the numeracy skills of non numerate learners
by intensifying enrichment activities.

VIII. Detailed Activity Implementation Plan

For the effective implementation of this orientation, the session matrix including topics,
persons involved and the time frame to be used, please see attached sheet (Attachment B)

IX. Monitoring and Evaluation Plan

Monitoring will be based on the discretion of the Schools District Supervisor and the School
Principal.
