INTRODUCTION
Ashoka pleaded for tolerance of different religious sects in an attempt
to create a sense of harmony. The policy of dhamma also laid stress on
nonviolence ,which was to be participated by giving up war and conquests and
also as a restraint on the killing of animals. Ashoka was the third emperor of
Maurya dynasty . we follow the sources of those density

The first emperor was in India in ancient time Maurya density .the first king
was the Mauryan Dina city and son of the second emperor Bindu sara was
Ashoka .upon Bindusara s death Ashoka engaged Mauryan empire Ashoka
emerged victories after several years of conflict, the good names of Ashoka

Ashoka also spelled dharma Ashoka. the last major third emperor of Mauryan
dynasty of India. he followed Buddhism after Kalinga war at the time he meets
upgupta (Buddhist monk) Ashoka after this war expansion of that religion
through out the India and also other countries to follow Buddhism. Ashoka
renounced armed conquest and adopted a policy that was called conquest by
Dharma (by principles of right life) dhamma is a set of edicts that formed a
policy of Mauryan emperor Ashoka the great. Ashoka became a idle king of
ancient India for his policy and welfare.

Conclusion
Ashoka was the third emperor of the Mauryan dynasty which formed around
321 BCE and ended in 185 BCE was the first pan Indian empire an empire that
covered most of the Indian region its spanned across central and north earn
India as well as over parts of modern day .

Ashoka principles :1. Respect to elders

2. love to children’s

3. ahimsa or non violence

4. good deeds would give happiness to man in the next birth.

5.he thought people to respect all other religion

Why we call Ashoka as a great king:

He is called great because of model role-based ion piece and compassion threat
helped in unifying the culturally diverse empire under a centralised
administration.
