Marriage is lovely, and June is regarded as the month of weddings.

Because of the fiscal year,

Filipinos typically get married in June. Being married in June ensures that both parties are
married during the fiscal year, which begins in July. This is more of a financially responsible
decision than a romantic one because income tax rates were lower this month. Yet not every
marriage works out, and many do end in divorce, annulment, or separation. One of the most
painful things that may happen in a relationship is a separation or breakup. Even yet, it does
occur, and everyone must be prepared for these incidents.

A court-approved ruling allowing the separation of husband and wife is known as legal
separation. With a legal separation, the couple's marital duties are terminated but the marriage is
left intact. It separates the property regime from the marriage duties and the couple is entitled to
live apart and possess assets independently. Apart from the Vatican, the Philippines is the only
country in the world where divorce is illegal. Notwithstanding the country's absence of divorce
law and the steep expenses of getting an annulment, recent data suggests that an increasing
number of Filipinos are dissolving their marital relationships, either officially or informally.
Property is divided and distributed during a legal separation. In most cases, the misbehaving
spouse is not entitled to any net gains generated by their joint property. In the Philippines, the
following circumstances qualify for legal separation: (1) Repeated physical abuse or abusive
behavior toward the petitioner or their children; (2) Physical abuse or moral pressure to force the
petitioner to change their religious or political separation; (3) If the spouse tries to compel their
children into prostitution; (4) If the spouse will serve more than six years in prison, even if
pardoned; (5) Drug or alcohol abuse; (6) Lesbianism or homosexuality, (7) The respondent
entering into a second polygamous marriage, whether inside or outside the Philippines, (8) The
respondent engaging in sexual perversion or adultery, (9) The respondent making an attempt on
the petitioner's life, and (10) Lastly, abandonment of the petitioner by the respondent for more
than a year without justification. Marriage is declared null when it is not legitimate from the
start. If there are grounds for annulment during the marriage, it applies.

In summary, legal separation impacts both person and property, whereas separation of property
solely impacts property connections. While a judge must approve the separation of property, a
judge cannot declare a legal separation based on an agreement between the parties. Nobody likes
to be in the situation of having to file for divorce against their loved ones. The greatest approach
to avoid being in this situation is to become a decent partner and find someone who makes you
feel at peace.
