1 FOREWORD

This manual gives you information about CMS (CCMS) system. All the features that are taken from Siemens touch panel are not described in this document,
because functionality is the same.

All new function, information, etc. is described in this document.

ABBREVIATIONS:

- CMS = Crane Management System and CCMS = Crane Control Management System ( Both means the same system.)
- AGSS = Automatic Gantry Steering System
- IPC = Industrial PC ( Computer )
2 SCREENS

Many screens are similar to operator cabin touch panel.

3 RUN CONDITIONS

This example is from HOIST page:

RUN CONDITION button is GREEN, when running conditions are OK and red when they are NOT.

When pressing button, following screen will open.

In this condition group,


there is 2 condition.

From every line square’s has to be green, but if there is “or” text that means only one condition group from that line has to be true.
By pressing square you can see detail information about certain condition.

1 line: PLC address.

2 line: PLC symbol.

3 line: PLC comment.


4 SENSOR STATE AND INFORMATION

This example is from HOIST page. In this system you will see all important sensors of the RTG.

Sensor is green, when PLC state is “1” and gray when it’s “0”.

1 line: PLC symbol.

By pressing square you can see detail information about certain sensor. TR = Trolley
I46.0 = PLC address
S626 = Device designation
7C = Page of circuit diagram

5 ALARM SCREEN DETAILS
( About chapter 2.8 Alarms )

5.1 Alarm Reports

You can choose START date and time and END date and time. After that press Print report button.
Next you have to choose document saving location and name.
PDF-file looks like this.
6 TREND SCREEN DETAILS

Go to end. Zoom in / out.

6.1 Control button bar

Ruler enable, right and left.

Start / stop. Move forward / reverse. One

7 IPC START AND SHUTDOWN

7.1 Normal operation

When operator select CRANE ON ”state” and PLC goes to RUN mode, after that IPC starts automatically.

When operator select CRANE OFF “state”, after some minutes PLC first gives command to shutdown WinCC Flexible and after that command to shutdown
IPC.

7.2 Abnormal operation

You can also start / Shutdown IPC like normal computer if power supply to IPC is on.
8 BACKUP SYSTEM

Cargotec recommend this to be done every 3 months.

This procedure copies all alarm and trend data to USB-hard disk. View from files that are copied.

8.1 How to make backup

1. Connect USB-hard drive to IPC. ( No other USB memory devices can’t be connected at same time. )

2. Check from Windows Explorer that USB-hard drive is named as (E:\).


(You can open this by pressing Windows button + E )

Check that Backup is ( E:)
3. Press BACKUP button from MAINTENANCE screen. ( Point 2.11 )
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Disconnect USB-hard drive from IPC.

8.2 How to restore

1. When IPC is running, shutdown all programms.


2. Start Windows Explorer.
3. Connect USB-hard disk.
4. Check that Backup is (E:).
5. You have to find right machine folder, example : E:\CCMS\RTG1 ( if crane name is RTG1)
6. Copy logs folder.
7. Paste logs folder to C:\CCMS. ( Answer : Yes to all)
8. Restart IPC.
9 STEP 7

By pressing “Windows” key from keyboard and then go to


->Start
->All programs
->SIMATIC
->SIMATIC Manager

So you have easy access to RTG’s PLC program.


10 STARTER

By pressing “Windows” key from keyboard and then go to


->Start
->All programs
->STARTER
->STARTER

So you have easy access to RTG’s drive parameters.
