Respected Sir/Madam, The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has been organizing Youth Parliament Competitions sinee 1966 to strengthen the roots of Parliamentary democracy, inculcate healthy habits of discipline, tolerance of the views of others and to enable the student community to know about the parliamentary system of Government functioning. In order to increase the coverage of the programme, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has developed a web-portal of National Youth Parliament Scheme with the aim of bringing all the educational institutions of the country under the ambit of the Youth Parliament Programme ofthe Ministry which can be accessed by the HEIs at{http://nyps.mpa.gov.in/.] The registration is open till 31 December, 2019. Also, E-training modules, videos, photographs and scripts are available on the portal for online self-learning of the participants. Each student taking part in the sitting will get a Digital ‘Certification of Participation’ and teachers-in-charge and Head of Institution will get a Certification of Appreciation.
