Hello Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back to a new school year! I am beyond excited to get into the school year and getting
to know my students. Students will have a year of learning and growing in their regular school
subjects and also learning new concepts that will challenge them. Students will be encouraged to
read and practice math outside of the classroom but it will not be required.

I plan to minimize the work that will be done at home but this sometimes happens and will be
kept to a low level. When school work comes home, please feel free to visit my website for any
extra information or help over the topic. It is important to remember when working with your
children on school work to maintain a positive attitude towards that subject. It is my goal that all
my students know they can do great things and that they are all readers, writers, mathematicians,
scientists, and so much more!

Parent volunteering is one way to stay involved with your child's education and highly
encouraged. We have so many great opportunities for parents to be involved in and out of school.
Our school uses an open-door policy and we invite you to come by anytime. Again, please feel
