Four Corners 4 – Unit 1 to 4 – Session One

Introduction:
In the beginning there would be some introduction.
The class rules and my expectations of the students will be explained.
After that, students will be given proper time to talk about themselves and also will be asked
to talk about their expectations of the instructor.
I have prepared a questionnaire with some questions. They must answer the questions about
themselves. After the completion of the questionnaire, we will review them with the students
and I will keep the record of the answers for following activities.

Review:
After all the introduction, the last four units of the Four Corners 3 will be reviewed. In some
cases, students will be asked to explain the grammar parts to other students. If I find anything
that need to be added to their previous knowledge surely will add it.

Warm-up:
In this part a video file related to the topic of the unit will be played in the class to attract the
students’ attentions to the topic. After the video they will be asked to talk about the video.
they also be asked some questions about the video. Another video related to this topic will be
played too.
As an activity to end the session they will be asked to choose one of the ways to get the new
and write and news example.

Homework:
As the homework the students are supposed to search for a news and try to prepare a
summary of it and also take look at the first unit of the Oxford word skills.
